About Cryocourse

•Cryocourse is an intensive course on Cryophysics and Cryogenics, organised within the Marie Curie program of the European Union. It covers the science and technology of Low Temperatures.
•Cryoconference 2010 is an event organised in addition to the original program (see main page) with the remaining budget.
•About 30 students, mainly PhD and Post-docs from European universities, Research centres and Industry, will gather in the Grenoble area (south-east of France ), from August 1st (afternoon) to September 7 th. (morning), 2010.
•Presentations (mainly posters) by the young researchers participating to the Cryoconference will cover the main topics of Cryogenics, from the fundamental physics to the industrial applications.
•Presentations are given in English. Group discussions in several European languages are encouraged, when possible.
•The participants’ selection procedure will take into account the quality of the candidates applications and their need for a specific training in low temperatures, as well as more general criteria as gender, age and nationality balance.
•Students may be eligible for total or partial financial support (Marie Curie EC Programme).
